Overview:

Start off with a packet of silver metal clay, made up of pure silver particles bound together with an organic non-toxic binder. You can mold, shape, press, stamp and cut the silver metal clay. Then you will dry it thoroughly before it is fired in a kiln to nearly 1500 degrees Fahrenheit, which fuses the silver particles. The organic binder burns away and the resulting pieces are 99.9% pure silver as opposed to only 92.5% silver in sterling. The silver clay is made from 100% recycled and reclaimed silver, NOT strip mining!

When is the Lilly Ollo™ program available?

Just as all projects at Embellish are available during store hours, you may come into the store at any time and request to make custom silver charms. The kiln and finishing process may not be available during your visit, however, so it might be best to call ahead of time for availability - or sign up for one of the scheduled Clay Dates (see below). It is also possible to organize a private "How Charming" party.

Upgrade options

All of the following optional upgrades are available through our program:

• Love too many things to complete with one packet of clay? Additional packets available during classes for $25.
• You may select to add your creations to a fine silver ring shank for just $15! Call ahead for size availability.
• Add gold plating any of your fired charms for just $5/piece.
• Set a Cubic Zirconia (CZ) into any of your pieces before firing for just $1/stone.

Clay Dates:

Cost: $35 per person

Scheduled Sessions:

• Thursdays, from 6 to 8 p.m.

If you have experience with Precious Metal Clay or Silver Clay and would like to use our studio space and tools (and/or have pieces kiln-fired and tumbled), we offer the following:

• $25 for 2 hours (includes kiln and tumbler services; clay NOT included)
• $30 for 3 hours (includes kiln and tumbler services; clay NOT included)
• $10 for kiln-firing and tumbling, only (per kiln shelf, which fits several dozen quarter-sized pieces)
