Wed. July 2, 1-3 p.m.: Swarovski Ring (See Larger photo.) Stitch a simple weave pattern to create a "bling ring." You will select your own crystals, and we'll teach you how to stitch them into a fun-to-wear ring. Fee: $30, includes all supplies. Instructor: Vera Evans

Tues. July 8, 1-4 p.m. Peyote squared bracelet (See Larger photo.) If you've already tried your hand at bead weaving, this is a great intermediate level project. Using a medley of delicas and seed beads, learn to fashion peyote squares. The overall effect is gentle "waves" throughout the bracelet. Fee: $45, includes all materials. Instructor: Vera Evans

Thurs. July 10, 6-9 p.m. Fringe Earrings (See Larger photo.) Kick your earring making up a notch! Come learn how to make a pair of fringe earrings, using your favorite odds and ends beads. Thurs. July 10, 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. (2 different sessions): Fused Glass open workshop (See Larger photo.) It's an adult play date with fused glass! Select from a great assortment of colored and dichroic glass, and learn to layer them for special effects. All experience levels welcome. Each student may create as many pendants, pins, earrings or whatever he/she has in mind! Fee: $99 for one session or $150 for both. Wed. July 16, 4-7 p.m. Beaded Rivoli (See Larger photo.) Fashion a beaded bezel around a Swarovski rivoli. Embellishing techniques will be discussed, giving you the foundation to add as much flair as you desire. Each participant will complete one bezel, which later can be added to a ring or make another for a pair of earrings. Fee: $40, includes all materials. Instructor: Vera Evans

Sun. Aug. 3, 12-4 p.m.: Beginning Fused Glass Jewelry (See Larger photo.) Create your own beautiful fused glass jewelry in this one-day intensive workshop. Learn the basics of glass fusing, including glass cutting and layering, working with stringer, frit and dazzling dichroic glass. You can create custom pendants, earrings, bracelets and even sun catchers for yourself or to give as gifts. Most students are able to make between 15 and 30 pieces in this workshop, and you don't need any previous glass or jewelry making experience.
Two fee options:
1: Make 2 pairs of earrings and 2 pendants for $60
2: Make an unlimited number of pieces for $125

Sun. Sept. 21, 12-4 p.m.: Millefiori in Fused Glass (See Larger photo.) Create garden patches of color and letters within pendants, earrings, paper weights, pins, or whatever you have in mind! Learn to work with tiny Italian millefiori glass canes to incorporate detailed flowers, stars, and other intricate shapes into your work. Experiment with goldstone, a sparkly gold aventurine that adds unbelievable flair to your jewelry. Also, add letter cane slices to create "glass words" and customize your jewelry pieces. As a special bonus, we'll throw in torch worked twisties and 104 dichroic glass to use. No limit on pieces you make during this workshop. (You will be given a dish that you are welcome to fill.) Prior fused glass experience preferred. Sun. Oct. 12, 12-2 p.m.: Fused Glass Double Strand Bracelet Beads (See Larger photo.) Design your own one-of-a-kind double strand bracelet featuring fused glass beads. In this workshop you will learn how to add two holes to your beads, which you will design from scratch. After the beads are fired and returned to you, come back to the store to assemble a finished bracelet. Fee: $100, includes all materials to create beads, use of tools and safety equipment and firing (which will be done off-site - and all pieces will be returned to students within two weeks).
