Stamped Message Bangle

Meaningful prose and favorite sayings are easily stamped into sterling silver bangles. Each student will make one bangle, hammering it to conform to desired wrist size. (Additional bangles can be made for the cost of sterling silver wire). Two bangles are shown in the picture. Please come with an idea of what you would like your bangle to say.)

Bead Crochet

Ready for a new beading challenge? Try bead crochet! Learn how to fashion a bracelet in this introductory class. Participants will need to pre-string all beads before class, and they should not expect to complete the bracelet during the class. But they will leave with the confidence to finish on their own.

Required Supplies: Barbara will supply a variety of crochet needles (Sizes 1.5 to 1.75) to try out in class. Students will need to purchase size 8/0 beads (about 60 grams) and size 8 pearl cotton.

Peyote Puff Bracelet
(See Larger photo.) By combining two types of beads in an odd count peyote cuff, you will learn how to add dimension to what would ordinarily be a flat cuff bracelet. Project may not be completed in class.

Crocheted Wire Bracelet

Come learn how to crochet using wire. After making a lacy underlay, Kay will show you how to Embellish using beads. The class also will show you how to create the clasp, which can be used on other projects, as well. Prior crochet experience not necessary. Depending on previous experience, project may not be completed in class.

Fused Glass beginner workshop

In this workshop you'll learn the basics of designing, cutting, and creating fused glass pieces to compliment your wardrobe or use as gifts. Work with sheet glass, stringer, frits, dichroic glass, fine silver, and copper to create your own one-of-a-kind jewelry. Class fee includes all materials, use of tools, and firing, and students may make as many pieces as they each can fit within a 5" x 8" card. Expect to be able to complete 7-20 pieces, depending on size, complexity and working speed. Jewelry assembled in this workshop will be fired and returned in about 2 weeks.

Millefiori in Fused Glass (Full Workshop)
(See Larger photo.) Create garden patches of color and letters within pendants, earrings, paper weights, pins, or whatever you have in mind! Learn to work with tiny Italian millefiori glass canes to incorporate detailed flowers, stars, and other intricate shapes into your work. Experiment with goldstone, a sparkly gold aventurine that adds unbelievable flair to your jewelry. Also, add letter cane slices to create "glass words" and customize your jewelry pieces. As a special bonus, we'll throw in torch worked twisties and 104 dichroic glass to use. No limit on pieces you make during this workshop. (You will be given a dish that you are welcome to fill.)

Fused Glass Double Strand Bracelet Beads
(See Larger photo.) Design your own one-of-a-kind double strand bracelet featuring fused glass beads. In this workshop you will learn how to add two holes to your beads, which you will design from scratch. After the beads are fired and returned to you, come back to the store to assemble a finished bracelet.

Nested Glass Necklace
