Embellish Customers Made It Snow to Help Local Charity
(Rocky River, OH - Jan. 3, 2007) There may be no snow on the ground, but Embellish customers had their fun with snowflakes over the holiday season. Customers of all ages created beaded snowflakes, and proceeds from their purchases raised $250 for the Rocky River Assistance Program.
The Rocky River Assistance Program provides food to income eligible families in Rocky River. Currently 93 families are served by the program, which is run by the Rocky River Junior Women's Club.
Many of the ornaments were created at All Aglow, the Rocky River tree lighting festivities. Several others were created by area Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for their annual holiday craft projects. Snowflake projects were available during November and December at Embellish, the new create-your-own jewelry and accessories store that opened this past summer at 19055 Lake Road in Rocky River.
